Job Specifics

Duties Description Responsible for review and processing of new contracts and encumbrances for High Speed Rail, Grade Rail, Utility, Freight and Transit in SFS;
• Responsible for review and processing of new contracts and encumbrances for Local Municipalities in SFS;
• Responsible for tracking daily entries to facilitate efficient flow of transactions from Site Manager and
SFS to the Office of the State Comptroller, ensuring transaction approval;
• Responsible for research and resolution of issues that arise;
• Responsible for assigning D and T contract numbers to various DOT units and tracking contract numbers assigned;
• On a daily basis, produce a report identifying the status’ of construction contract change orders and
process the change orders through Site Manager;
• Work with Regional Staff to resolve discrepancies for contract funding;
• Responsible for working with various units within the Department to ensure that the contract process runs smoothly
• Responsible for working with Statewide Financial System (SFS) to test/resolve any issues that occur as a result of SFS quarterly/FYE processing.

Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the
department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.

eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law.
